We are proud to represent the vibrant Telugu-speaking community in Warsaw, Poland. Our chapter serves as a cultural and social hub for individuals and families from the Telugu-speaking regions of India, helping them stay connected to their roots while fostering unity and friendship within our diverse local community.
Our Mission
At the Warsaw City Chapter, our mission is to:
- Promote Telugu culture, traditions, and language in Poland.
- Organize cultural, educational, and recreational events for the Telugu community in Warsaw.
- Provide support to new Telugu immigrants and residents in adapting to life in Warsaw.
- Foster cultural exchange and collaboration between the Telugu community and the broader Polish society.
- Create a strong network of Telugu-speaking individuals and families in the Warsaw region.
Our Activities
Throughout the year, we organize a wide range of activities and events, including:
- Festivals: Celebrate major Telugu festivals such as Ugadi, Sankranti, and Dasara with traditional rituals, food, and cultural performances.
- Cultural Programs: Showcase the rich heritage of Telugu art forms, including dance, music, and drama, through local events and talent shows.
- Language and Education: Promote the Telugu language by organizing classes and workshops for both children and adults.
- Community Support: Provide a support network for new Telugu-speaking residents in Warsaw, helping them with information on housing, education, employment, and navigating local life.
- Charitable Initiatives: Engage in community service and charitable efforts to support causes both in Poland and in India.
