The Krakow City Chapter is an integral part of the Poland Telugu Association, dedicated to fostering unity, promoting cultural exchange, and supporting the Telugu-speaking diaspora in Krakow, Katowice and the neighboring cities. Our community is diverse, comprising professionals, students, and families who share a common bond through our language, traditions, and values
Our Mission
At the Krakow City Chapter, our mission is to:
- Celebrate Telugu Culture: Organize and participate in festivals, events, and cultural programs that showcase our rich heritage.
- Support the Telugu Community: Provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and social support among members, especially for newcomers to Krakow.
- Promote Education and Learning: Encourage Telugu language learning and cultural awareness for both children and adults.
- Collaborate and Grow: Build bridges with other cultural associations, local communities, and authorities to create a vibrant multicultural environment in Krakow.
Events and Activities
Throughout the year, we host a variety of events to bring our community together and promote Telugu culture. Some of our popular events include:
- Sankranti & Ugadi Celebrations: Marking these traditional Telugu festivals with
cultural performances, food, and fun activities. - Children’s Programs: Special activities and competitions to engage and nurture the younger generation.
- Community Gatherings: Regular meetups and picnics to strengthen bonds and create lifelong friendships.
- Charity Drives: Initiatives to give back to the local community and support important causes.
